Ingredients:
- 500 g green beans, ends snappedand cut into 2 cm pieces
- 1 big onion, chopped finely
- 300 g stew beef, coarsely chopped
- 1 big tomato, peeled and chopped
- 1 Tbsp tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 cups of hot water
Directions:
1) Put butter, olive oil and meat in a pot and cook to draw out its own juices
2) Add the chopped onion and stir for about 2-3 minutes
3) Add the tomato paste, chopped tomato and hot water. Cover and simmer on low-medium heat for about 30 minutes
4) Add the green beans, paprika powder, salt and pepper. If needed, add more hot water. Cover and simmer for another half an hour until the beans are cooked
5) Serve with Turkish bread to soak its delicious juice
