Ingredients:
- 1 cup dry green lentils
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- ½ red paprika, chopped
- ½ green paprika, chopped
- 1 Tbsp tomato paste
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
1) Cook the green lentils with 3 cups of water on medium heat until water is completely soaked
2) In a different pot, heat the oil and stir in vegetables. Cook until soft
3) Add tomato paste and stir for another couple of minutes
4) Add lentils with 2 cups of water. Season with salt and pepper to taste
5) Cook on medium heat for about 30 minutes and serve with Turkish bread or rice
