TURKISH OKRA DISH WITH MEATBALLS

Ingredients:
- 500 g fresh okra
- 200 g gound beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 green pepper, finely chopped
- 1 tomato, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped or crushed
- 1 tsp tomato paste
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4-5 cups (hot) water

Directions:
1) Peel off the cap of the okra gently and very thin. The shape should be like a funnel when you are finished
2) Add olive oil and the chopped onion to a large pot and bring to medium heat. Cook until the onions getting soft but do not brown them
3) While the onions are cooking, add the chopped pepper, tomato, garlic, tomato paste and okra and stir for a min. Then add enough water to cover the bottom of the pot
4) In another bowl, add the ground beef. Season with salt and pepper, knead and make little meatballs. Add this meatballs to the dish
5) Season with salt and pepper and add the lemon juice
6) If there is enough water to cover the bottom of the pot, you do not need to add any more. If you need, add hot water!
7) Cook again until the okra is ready. Rest for about 10-15 min. and serve warm
