Ingredients:
- 500 g spinach
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 500 g Turkish (plain) yogurt
Directions:
1) Blanch your spinach. Drain well, make sure to get all the liquid out and chop fine
2) Sauté the flour and minced garlic in butter for about 2 minutes. Add the spinach and a pinch of salt and stir for about a minute
3) Remove from the heat and allow to cool
4) In a bowl, add yogurt, spinach mixture, salt and pepper to taste and stir
5) Transfer to the bowl you are serving in it and sprinkle with olive oil (optional!)
6) Serve 'ispanak borani' with Turkish bread
