Ingredients:
- 125 g butter
- 125 ml vegetable oil
- 250 ml plain yogurt
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 15 g yeast
- +/- 1 kg flour
*For frying: vegetable oil
Directions:
1) Add butter, oil, yogurt, salt and yeast in a large bowl and mix well
2) Add the flour and knead until a smooth and elastic dough begins to form
3) Heat a large pot vegetable oil. Divide dough into little pieces
4) Fry both sides until golden brown for about 2-3 minutes over medium heat. Repeat with remaining dough
5) Serve the fried dough hot with Turkish cheese and tea
