TURKISH GREEN PEA DISH WITH MEATBALLS

Ingredients:
- 750 g green peas, frozen
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tomato, peeled and chopped
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 Tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp red paprika paste
- 250 g ground beef
- 4 cups water
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:
1) Add olive oil to a large pot and bring to medium heat
2) Add the chopped onion, cook until the onions getting soft but do not brown them
3) While the onions are cooking, remove your peas from the freezer and place in a bowl to help them unthaw a bit
4) Add chopped tomato, tomato paste, paprika paste and the peas to the onions and sauté for about 30 sec.
5) Add the water, mix well and let bubble gently
6) Season with salt and pepper
7) In another bowl, add the ground beef, season with salt and pepper, knead and make little meatballs
8) Add this meatballs to the dish and let the dish cook until all the ingrients are soft and tender
9) Serve the dish with rice or bulgur
